A trial of advil, Motrin or Aleve (naproxen) is usually helpful. Even with no treatment the inflammation can get better within 1 to 2 weeks.

The treatment is an anti-inflammatory; and a soft tissue massage if needed. Over time the symptoms will subside; and check with your doctor if needed.
