In brief: Get it checked

You may or may not have a problem but any mole or pigmented lesion that is changing should be look at by your pcp or a dermatologist and evaluated on short order. As a lay person, you are not in a position to know the warning signs or symptoms or could mistake abnormal for normal.
Do not chance it! get it looked at and make sure. Sometimes things belong in a jar and not on your body! best 2 u!

In brief: Learn your ABCD's

Could be a melanoma.
..Melanomas are screened by the abcd's: a-asymmetry; b-irregular borders; c-different colors; d-diameber >6mm (size of pencil eraser). If you notice a mole with these characteristics, get it checked out asap. If you have a skin lesion which is growing, ulcerating, bleeding, or otherwise changing, get it seen as well for evaluation and possible biopsy. Best wishes.

In brief: Needs Exam

Moles are benign skin bumps that will naturally get bigger over time and with aging.
That being said, the only way to know if it is a mole (nevus) and not a skin cancer like melanoma is to have a biopsy. Several "history" factors and exam findings will help your doctor advise you of the best treatment for the lesion.
