I got surgery done on my pinky toe and I have a walking shoe. I can't walk in it without looking like a horse! it doesn't bend! how do I walk normal ?

In brief: See below

The shoe is there for protection of your toe after surgery.
The shoe may be cloddy but it is needed. If a real problem for you then use crutches.

In brief: Talk to your doctor

Usually the surgical shoe is meant to accomodate the dressing.
Ask your doctor if you could use an old sneaker that could be cut open instead. Depending on the type of procedure done, that may be fine.

The whole idea behind a surgical shoe is to protect the foot so that it could heal well and fast,w/t complications. Walk slowly and rest
