In brief: Anti-fungals

Ring worm is not a worm, but a fungal infection on the skin.
Anti-fungal agents, such as Lamisil (terbinafine) at or lotrimin, can be effective against ring worm. Consult with your family doctor or dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

In brief: Creams& hygiene

You can use clotrimazole1percent cream 3 times a day or lamasil cream twice a day.
Be sure to apply it 1 inch beyond the ring of fungus ( it is not a worm) and conitinue application for 5 days after all signs are gone. It is highly contagious. Don't share towels. Once used be sure to put it right into the wash to protect others. If you touch it, wash your hands right away!

In brief: Terbinafine cream

Should work, if that's what you've got.
