How many times in a week should I exercise in the gym?

It depends. It depends on your level of fitness, general health, and exercise intensity. 2 or 3 times a week would be a minimum. If young or in good shape exercise every day with a few days of rest would be ideal.

4 or more days/week. I recommend a minimum of 4 days a week of exercise (however, it does not have to be all in the gym.). I recommend this number because once this is achieved, you will have exercised more days than you have not. Additionally, there should be some days of for rest and recovery.
