In brief: Yes

Stress is a well known and documented trigger for people with asthma and may cause symptoms to worsen.

In brief: Yes

Stress, or rather increased stress because who doesn't have some stress, makes us less tolerant of chronic medical problems.
Stress also adversely affects the immune system. Lack of sleep increases stress further impairing immune function. But asthma is more likely to adversely affect sleep than vice versa. If you're not sleeping well you probably need to look at your overall asthma control.

In brief: Absolutely

Asthma has many triggers- they include exercise, allergies, weather changes, emotions and viruses.
Lack of sleep can make you irritable and decrease the threshold to release emotions like anger and frustration. In turn these can trigger asthma flares.
