In brief: No

Any form of cholestatic disease (impaired of bile flow) can cause itching.
In pregnancy, the most common cause is a condition known as cholestasis of pregnancy. In this disease the itching is thought to be due to elevated bile salt as a result of the hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy. Other more serious conditions include hellp syndrome and actute fatty libber of pregnancy.

In brief: All jaundice may

All jaundice may itch, especially when it comes to obstructive jaundice that causes more significant bilirubin elevation and therefore higher concentration of it in the skin that causes people to have pruritis (itchiness).
