In brief: Athletes foot fungus

Itching on your feet is most likely a fungal skin infection also known as dermatophytosis.
There are over the counter anti-fungal creams available. You should see a doctor for a definite diagnosis.

In brief: Athletes feet

This is likely a fungal infection ( tinea pedis).
Try over the counter products - the pharmacist can help. Keep the feet clean and dry. If this does not clear up in 2 weeks see your podiatrist.

In brief: Many possibilities

There are many things that could cause the skin to itch.
Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

In brief: Could be fungus

Tinea pedis can cause itching.
It is looks like dry skin with peeling especially on the heels or between the toes. If the itching does not respond to an over the counter product, try adding a topical cortisone cream to reduce the itch. Again, if it all fails I recommend seeking the help of a podiatrist.

In brief: Athletes Foot

Athlete’s foot, also called tinea pedis, is a fungal infection that affects the skin on the feet and can spread to the toenails and sometimes the hands.
The fungal infection is called athlete’s foot because it’s commonly seen in athletes. Other reasons can cause itchy feet but this is the most common. Go to the pharmacy and pick up fungal cream and if that does not help then see your doctor.

Itching can be due to many causes.
The most frequent is athlete's foot, a fungal infection. The simple remedy to try first is any type of foot powder applied to your feet and shoes daily for one month. Make sure your dry well between your toes after showering. If this does not work completely, add 30 minutes half water half white vinegar soak twice weekly. Dr Rich Blake
