Lesion on outer ear red and swollen?

Infection. Usually swollen red area could be infection with pus formation. Use neosporin oint locally if you want cover with k-tape and apply heat will soften the area and will be able to drain pus. Mark the redness area with marker pen if this gets bigger get help from your doctor for incision, drainage and oral antibiotics.
