Contact Lenses. The biggest learning curve besides contact lens comfort is learning how to care for the contact lenses. It is a big step to put something in the eye and to take it out, and requires lots of practice. It is also a big responsibility to take out the lenses and clean them each night. Each person has a different learning curve for becoming a proficient contact lens wearer.
Depends. That really depends because not only do most people have to adjust to the way their vision seems to them in contact lenses (versus glasses), but many people also have to adjust to the way they feel on their eyes. For some people who have no dry eye problems and have only a little refractive error, they can adjust in days; others with a higher refractive error or dry eyes may take weeks to adjust.
