In brief: Many causes

May have an uncorrected refractive error, convergence insufficiency or other strabismus, dry eye, asthenopia, etc.
Best to get an eye checkup first.

In brief: Amblyopia

You may have amblyopia or lazy eye and your eyes fatigue from working together. See a developmental optometrist for an evaluation.

If this occurs only with textbooks then it may be any allergy or psychological problem. If it occurs with any reading then you should see an ophthalmologist for an examination to rule out eye diseases and vision problems that require glasses.
