If there is a particular stressor that is known to set off the migraines, you can try to avoid it, but this is difficult to do. If the visual migraines are followed by classic migraines, see your doctor to discuss migraine medication.

sometimes avoiding caffeine, cheeses , baking soda and taking aspirin 81 mg. daily helps. some blood pressure meds also help (if you already have hypertension) such as betablockers and calcium antagonists
