In brief: Probably not

In the absence of a head injury, a small difference can be normal, but evaluation by an ophthalmologist should be done to be sure.

In brief: Enlarged pupil

Perhaps.
Make sure you are checking his eyes in equal light settings. Also use a flashlight and shine it into one eye at a time and see if the pupil size decreases with the light. Gently cover each eye and note if he seems to see ok. Now call your doctor to report and to make an appointment for an examination to learn if there is a problem or not.
