In brief: May increase bleed
Von willebrand's condition is a hereditary problem with blood clotting.
People who have it may have increased bleeding with injuries or dental or medical procedures. Women who have it may have heavy or prolonged periods and may bleed extra after delivery. Blood tests can show how much trouble you may have clotting and a medication can be given to make your blood clot better if you need a c/s.
