In brief: When normal looking

When the eye looks and feels back to normal then that is usually a safe time to resume makeup and contact lens wearing.

In brief: 1-2 weeks

Pink eye which is usually caused by a viral infection typically will last 1-2 weeks.
The virus is extremely difficult to kill and will continue to live on makeup appliators for quite some time. It is ok to start to use make up again after your symptoms resolve but i would throw away any make up that touched your eyes right before or during your symptoms.
