Fruits like bananas, oranges and pretzels can be healthy ways to replenish electrolytes as well. High level endurance athletes and very salty sweaters may also take electrolyte containing supplements/pills before, during and after exercise in hot & humid environments.

Gatorade and similar electrolyte drinks are an excellent way to keep your electrolytes in balance during and after rigorous exercise.
As a marathon runner, i make sure that i drink as much gatorade as water during a run. The reason for this is if you sweat a lot and then drink a lot of water (which does not replenish electrolytes), your sodium and potassium can become dangerously out of balance.
