HSP kids often experience a transient period where blood is found in the urine. This usually clears within a few weeks & rarely moves on into any long term kidney issues.

Long term renal disease is uncommon in kids with HSP but it can happen and most peds nephrologist recommend checking urine and BP monthly x6
