In brief: Survival

I guess it really depends on whether the lung nodules are metastases.
If so, they would be considered extra hepatic metastases, and survival even with chemoembolization decreases considerably. In liver only disease, survival rates are about 2/3 at 1 year, 1/3 at 2 years, wih median survival of around 14 months (median survival with extra hepatic mets is around 3 months).

In brief: Depends.

A lot depends on the distribution of the tumor and how rapidly it is growing.
Chemoembolization depends on a good blood supply, and if the tumor has only one or two "feeding" blood vessels. In some cases of metastatic liver cancer, there are innumerable small nodules; in others, a few large ones. The latter is easier to treat. Chemoembolization seldom cures.
