I've purchased a full-mask respirator as a precaution from asbestos exposure. Is there anything else I need?

In brief: Clothing
Asbestos can cling to clothing; if you are working around broken asbestos or asbestos dust, it is worthwhile wearing full hazardous material protective clothing.
Any work around broken or damaged asbestos is best done by professionals trained in this work. The consequences of asbestosis (such as COPD or cancer) are not worth the risk to a non-professional in my opinion.
