R I C E. Rest- reduce walking, standing for few days. Ice- ice packs 10 minutes, 3-4 times daily. Compression- ace wrap for support. Elevation- keep it elevated when at rest. If swelling not better, see primary care doctor or orthopedic surgeon.

Get checked. Swelling to ankle is unusual for a knee problem. The 2 may be related but may be separate problem. It should be checked asap.
