Is this a symptom of sleep apnea? I always need to sleep more hours than everyone else.

In brief: ONE OF MANY REASONS

People with sleep apnea generally are not well rested and need a nap or fall asleep during the day or can't get out of bed easily in the morning.
I would be examed by your internist and have a full blood panel done to rule out diseases such as epstein-barr.
