In brief: Many things

If you injured it you should see a doc so that you are not making it worse.
For mild pain there are many classes of medication including tylenol, (acetaminophen) nsaids (ibuprofen, naproxen), and others like tramadol. Call one of your docs and see what they prescribe. Avoid narcotics...Too many people prescribe them and they have many side effects.
