Generally, which contacts are the best and what would happen if I got punched or kicked in the eye with them?

In brief: Ouch!
There is no specific "best" contact lens; some fit better than others, depending on your eye's shape.
Some feel better due to the level of moisture that they allow, as well as their breathability. None will be good if you get hit in the eye. At best, the eye will be damaged by the punch or kick alone. At worst, the contact can be torn and cause an abrasion. Either way, try not to get hit!
