In brief: It should get better

It is quite common for migraines to worsen after a concussion (or even begin for the first time).
The good news is almost all symptoms from a concussion, including the increase in migraines, will dissipate over a period of 6-12 weeks, which is the typical time frame it takes any injured tissue to heal (the brain included). Nine out of ten folks are symptom free 3 months after a concussion.

In brief: Post trauma headache

Headaches often occur as a result of head trauma.
Patients who have a history of headaches like migraines frequently experience an increase in the frequency of headaches after head trauma. If you have been able to find a successful treatment for your migraines you should try to implement that treatment promptly at the first sign your having a migraine to try to reduce your tendency to have headach.
