What vitamins should a female in her fortys take?

It depends... This partly depends on how aggressively you wish to prevent various illnesses as well as family history/risk factors.I advise everyone take vit. C 1-2000 mg 2x/day &a quality mulitivit. That includes the 5-mtfh form of Folic Acid & 5000 units of vit. D in winter months.To prevent osteoporosis at least 1 mg of vit, k & perhaps a quality calcium/mag. Consider ashwagandha or rhodiola as herbal tonic.
