In brief: Prostate cancer

Sadly, there are no noticeable symptoms of prostate cancer in the curable stages.
Hence the importance of psa screening. In the advanced stages it can cause voiding difficulty, bone pain, weight loss etc.

In brief: Asymptomatic

Most patients who present with prostate cancer are without symptoms.
Usual presentation is an elevated psa (prostate specific antigen).Digital rectal exam is another.Accidentally during transurethral resection for bph. Urinary obstructive symptoms may occur - increased frequency, urgency, pain on urination; however, these are not specific for prostate cancer. Bone pain when advanced-but not usual.
