In brief: Two weeks

Your partner needs to get treated as well. Wait two weeks.

I agree, two weeks will be more than enough. Azithromycin stays in your body about 5 days, so by seven days it will have done the job.

The standard recommendation (e.g. CDC and most STD experts) is one week. If with the same partner, no sex (even with condom) until s/he also has been treated. All infected persons should be retested about 3 months later, to detect both treatment failures and new infections, which are quite common.
