My gf has a possible ear infection, back of neck and general area below the ear is painful. What should we do?

Pain in the neck and/or behind the ear is unusual for an ear infection. If she is having pain in the ear with those symptoms, the infection is beyond its normal bounds and she needs to be seen by a local ENT or in the er.

Bad outer ear and middle ear infections can spread to that area. You need to have it seen today. Go to urgent care
