Why do most cuts and scraps heal without a scar for adults but scars as a child last a long time?

In brief: That is not true

Cuts and scraps also heal without a scar in children but because they are active and the cuts get recurrent trauma in some cuts depending on thec site of the cut, and also there is more chance of these getting infected and that also causes increased scarring and lastly they get more cuts and scraps than adults do.
