Symptoms of a herniated cervical disc?

Symptoms. Typically pain in neck or radiating down arm, numbness in arm, potentially weakness in arm/hand. Treatment options include: medication, therapy, steroid injections, surgery.
Arm nerve symptoms. Pain, numbness, tingling, potentially weakness down the arm, particularly associated with head position and shoulder blade pain is suggestive. Needs evaluation and MRI of neck to diagnose.
Pain. Pain in the back and, if a nerve is compressed as the result of the herniation , there can be pain, numbness and weakness in the area supplied by the nerve.
