I am a 48 year old woman with osteoporosis. Not on any meds. Need a lower right simple wisdom tooth extraction. Should I be concerned in any way?

Depends. Most times no unless the tooth is deeply impacted and a large amount of bone needs to be removed. Also a dentist who is gentle will help reduce the possibility of complications.
Possible concern. A group of drugs called bisphosphonates are commonly prescribed to treat osteoporosis. Sometimes oral medications are prescribed and sometimes a person receives these medications through an iv. Depending upon which method and duration of the bisphosphonate treatment there can be varying chances for an extraction site that doesn't heal properly. It is best to talk to your dentist.
