In brief: Lack of blood flow

Ischaemia (or ischemia) refers to the state of a lack of adequate oxygen to a tissue, or an imbalance between supply and demand; since blood carries oxygen to tissues, ischaemia occurs when blood flow is limited by a narrowed artery, or a muscle is exercised beyond the capacity of its blood vessels to supply blood flow.
It merits an evaluation to determine its cause and therapy.

In brief: Low blood flow

Decrease blood flow causing less oxygen and nutrient delivery to tissue which may result in damage and death of that tissue /organ.

Depending on the tissue type and the length of ischemia time , some ischemia may be reversible . Heart and brain can't take long ischemia
