Many users of weed have no significant emotional disorders that come with it's use.
Others are not so lucky. Some develop bouts of paranoia or depression and why is uncertain. There are also those who have undiagnosed or diagnosed bipolar disorders, major depression or post traumatic stress disorder who bring depression with them when they smoke weed. It comforts briefly then depression returns.
