Is it normal to forget things that happen 2 or 3 months ago?

In brief: Memory not perfect.

Some degree is normal.
Memory is selective. And one does not remember everything. However, if you are forgetting things that should have been important on more than an occasion or two you should see your doc for evaluation. Most significant memory impairment usually presents with inability to recall events that happened within the very short term - hours to days.
