I am having trouble sleeping and when I wake up I feel as though I have no motivation what so ever. Is there anything I can do mentally about it?

Yes . Before you go to sleep think of what it is you'd like to the next day. Make that mental plan, visualize it and to do just that the next morning. Your attitude should be better the next day. Good luck from nyc.
