Consider surgery. Surgery should be considered if you have exhausted your conservative options. Surgical management of bunions varies greatly on the severity of the deformity, the general health of the patient, and on the surgeon’s training and experience.
Confidence. Toe straighteners aren't very successful, but roomy shoes are. It may seem strange coming from a surgeon, but maybe all you need is to accept yourself. If something isn't "broken", why fix it? If your bunions hurt, or don't fit into shoes comfortably, that's a different situation entirely. Surgery is serious, no matter what the procedure. The benefits should outweigh the risks to consider it.
Bunion surgery. It depends on how bad the deformity is and how much pain you are in, but surgery is probably what you need.
