In brief: See OB then MFM

Women with a history of diabetes during pregnancy or risk factors for dm should see an internist or endocrinologist before conceiving, if possible.
If pregnant, an OB physician can evaluate then refer back to prior physician if comfortable with pregnant diabetic women and/or to maternal-fetal medicine specialist who evaluates mom and fetus and can treat and plan delivery of mom to decrease risks.

In brief: Depends

A glucose tolerance test is required during pregnancy.
But if confirmed that u have pregnancy induced diabetes, treatment would vary dependent on the degree of blood sugar ranging from dietary to Insulin therapy. There is also the potential cause for postpartum diabetes.

In brief: Get medical help now

Diabetes in pregnancy is of great concern, to both the expected newborn's health, and to the mother, herself.
The best place to get your personal needs appropriately addressed is from your physicians, especially from one specialized in diabetes (endocrinologist), and to get connected quickly with them. Part of routine pregnancy care is to monitor for diabetes because of its great importance.
