Two things. First, don't have any of the gene factors that make you more likely to get it (pick different parents). Second, don't ever in your lifetime become exposed to gluten. Since neither of these are realistic, there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

Not exactly . If you have celiac disease, then a gluten-free diet will help delay the onset of symptoms from it. However, if you do not have celiac to begin with, eating a gluten-free diet will make no difference whatsoever. It will not prevent celiac disease.
