Internal Medicine - Allergy & Immunology

In brief: Have no clue

A board-certified allergist/immunologist has to have 3 years of either internal medicine or pediatrics and at least 2 years of allergy/immunology in accredited training programs.
The physician has to sit for board-certification in the primary specialty first, then in allergy/immunology. Unfortunately, there are some "cookbook" 2 day courses in allergy. Draw y our own conclusions.
