Pneumonia describes infection of the lung tissue itself.
Bronchitis is an inflammation or infection of the bronchial tubes leading to the lung tissue. Both can have fever & production of sputum (usually yellow, brown, green-grey, bloody, lime green) but pneumonia is more likely and will have chills. Bronchitis is usually with wheezing, barking cough and not as toxic. Hard to know @ times?
