Goal: 7-11 servings of them daily. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, get at least 3 servings of skim milk/day, 4 oz of protein. Avoid packaged foods, carbonated beverages, and no more than 4 oz juice/day.

In brief: Do It Safely
Don't try and use any unsafe or fad diets.
A teen's body is still developing at a rapid pace, and needs good nutrition to support it. If you are trying to lose weight, change your eating habits to include lots of vegetables, fruits and cut out the fatty foods (junk food). Exercise everyday and have fun doing so. The worst thing you can do is severely reduce the amount of food you eat.

Diet and exercise are harder but achieve more lasting results; diet does not mean just eating less, but approaching what you eat seriously. Talk to your physician and a dietician. Use an exercise program that involves working with others, as that is more likely to lead to a lifestyle change.

Eat a healthy well balanced diet! also water, organic vegetable broth, green leafy vegetables, natural pickles, apples are great to fill you up so you dont feel hungry and they are very low in calories.
