In brief: Yep

If your overlap is minor you may be able to get the situation fixed with minimal ortho treatment.
You may also fix the situation by having a cosmetic crown placed. When crowns are made they are almost always made to be in perfect alignment. But if have a few more problems than just the one crooked tooth full orthodontics may be needed. Go talk to you dentist and discuss the options.

In brief: Yes

Straighter teeth lead to a decreased risk of gum disease, due to more effective oral hygiene techniques.
There are several ways to straighten your smile, such as traditional braces, or esthetic variations like invisalign or six month smiles. Check with your dentist, or be referred to an orthodontist for a consultation regarding your options.
