In brief: Yes

Always tell your dentist all of your medical conditions and medications you are currently taking.
There are very few complete contraindications for dental implants if your medical conditions are well controlled.

A visit with your hematologist is in order but i don't think it is a contra-indication.

In brief: Yes

Be sure that your md is in conversation with your treating surgeon and restorative dentist.
As long as you are stable and careful with your health, should be ok.

In brief: Need consult

Patients with sickle cell anemia can sickle shape rbcs, which effects blood flow.
Patients with sickle cell anemia have reported to develop osteomyelitis, and osteonecrosis, which will result in implant failure. It is thus recommended to have medical clearance from the treating physician to determine if dental implants can be placed.

In brief: Vascularity issues

Yes, by definition sickle cell anemia is a vascularity issue.
With low vascularity to the gums that a primarily supplying blood to the bone/ implant site, there would be a great cause of implant failure.
