What is a 6 week old baby take for a stuffy nose and maybe a soar throat?

No meds. Medications have not been proven successful at this age and pediatricians do not recommend any over the counter cough and cold medicines for kids under 6 years. For babies of this age a nasal aspirator can help remove the thick mucus in their noses- the blue bulb syringe can do the same. Humidification may also help. Most importantly keep them hydrated- increase the frequency of breastfeeding.
Irritants. The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages & exposure to dust, fragrences, smoke & other irritants.Baby tries to flush these out of the nose with mucous but this often ends as congestion & produces rattling with breathing. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & suctioning the remainder. Eliminate irritants from babies environment & this will happen less.
Stuffy nose. Stuffy nose in 6 weeks old babies should never be treated with medications. Use saline nasal drops and suction the nose with bulb syring helps. Running a humifier helps too.

What are some of the over counter medicines I can take for soar throat no fever and stuffy nose?

Sore throat. There's not a particular medicine available that will treat a sore throat's cause, so focus on symptom management. Tylenol/ibuprofen for pain, lozenges can help. Read more...

I'm a 14 year old female. I have been sick on and off for a while (mainly stuffy nose and soar throat)past two days I've had chest and upper back pain.

URI. Your symptoms sound like an upper respiratory infection, usually viral. The stuffy nose can cause sore throat/dryness esp when sleeping and not clearing airway. You can use Sudagest 60 mg at night OTC. The chest pain is often from coughing strongly. If needed, you could add Robitussin DM for cough at night so subdue it so your chest/back muscles don't hurt. 6 month old baby boy has stuffy nose and cold and not coughing though his tone has changed coz of this. Not sure if he has sore throat. Suggestions pls?

For his stuffy nose, use some saline drops and a nasal aspirator (the bulb syringe that you may have received from the hospital after birth). If he has a fever, you can give him some Tylenol (acetaminophen) and see his doctor tomorrow. If he's drinking/eating well, he probably doesn't have much of a sore throat. If you're not sure, you can give him the Tylenol (acetaminophen) tonight. Again, I recommend you see his doc in the AM. Read more...
Nasal congestion. A 6 month old baby with stuffy nose swallows his mucus from the nose, and sometimes the tissues around the vocal cords (voice box) swells a little, causing a change in his voice. Not really a sore throat. See this: http://www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/conditions/ear-nose-throat/Pages/Children-and-Colds.aspx. Read more...

I feel like coming down with something stuffy nose, soar throat oral temperature showing 98.1, ear temp showing 99.7 which one is more accurate?

Both normal. Both measurements showed temp around the normal range (even though the ear one may be borderline high). It is hard to say which one is more accurate since it depends on the quality of the instrument used and the way you use the instrument (whether correctly or not). You seem to be having a cold.
