In brief: Nutrition shakes

There a several brands of nutrition shakes such as boost that are available at your local grocery store.
These are great for the few days after the surgery since they are easy to swallow and will provide your body with lots of nutrients while your mouth heals.

In brief: Include Fresh Juices

Many soft food choices are nutritionally sound.
Most cannot match the vitamins and minerals found in fresh veggies and some fruits. These can be a challenge right after surgery and while adapting to new dentures. I suggest taking advantage of the popular trend of drinking green juices. Adding apple and carrot can make them more palatable. They are nutrient dense and can support tissue healing.

In brief: Soft foods

You can pretty much eat whatever you want.
But it might be easier to eat soft foods. Over time you will learn to eat with the temporary dentues.

In brief: Depends on you

Each individual has their own nutritional needs consistent with their other health and wellness status.
There are plently of 'soft/liquid' choices that fulfill those individual needs.

In brief: Lots to choose

Some choices: eggs, quiche, yogurt, well cooked ground meats, deli meats "shaved" (like shredded or "chipped"), soups, applesauce, mashed potatoes (can add cheese - into, not on top), pudding, smoothies (can add whey protein), jello, milkshakes with spoon, fish, various meat hash and pancakes.
Enjoy ! chew slowly in a very small circular grinding motion with food on both sides at same time. Gd.Luck.
