In brief: Look at the vitamin

Content listing on the bottle.
While it has iron, I am sure that there is not enough to correct severe iron deficiency. Iron pills usually contain 324 mg.

In brief: Yes, but also...

Iron pills are often poorly absorbed & cause side effects.
Try iron bis-glycinate. Getting iron from your diet is a good strategy. Chicken & beef liver are good choices- i strongly advise organically-raised animals. Other good sources of iron include beans, lentils, tofu, spinach, raisins, clams, oysters, beef & chicken. For more info see http://ods.Od.Nih.Gov/factsheets/iron-healthprofessional/.
