My knee feels like it locks up have to force my knee to pop when i bend it even if i'm laying down I have to crack it or it hurts more

Locking-up is a particularly worrisome symptom in the knee.
I would be concerned about a torn cartilage. In the meantime, do not "force" anything, as you can cause more damage. If you lock-up again, i would recommend gently flexing and extending the knee to release any trapped tissues. Plan to see a doctor about this if the symptoms don't respond quickly to ice and anti-inflammatories.
