In brief: Evaluation
I would advise a chiropractor evaluate - especially one familiar with sports injuries that can help advise you with stretches once he/she has evaluated the muscle and surrounding areas for injuries.
Physical therapist also an option - but harder to go see on your own without a physician order...

In brief: Yes.
Technically, they are called hip adductor stretches.
You should see an athletic trainer or physical therapist, to be shown the correct way to do them.
