I had some lab work done because of mild joint pain. It came back ANA positive and speckled and ANA titer 1:40. What does this mean?

In brief: Low positive ANA

Low level ANA antibodies (1:40 or below) are often not big concern for autoimmune diseases however; it is possible that your joint pains are related to systemic lupus erythematosis (sle).
An evaluation by a specialist is suggested (rheumatology).
