Complete evaluation. The 9 month well visit is a complete evaluation of your child. It should include a check of your child's growth and development. There should be a discussion of what solid foods are being introduced. Immunizations should be reviewed and caught up. Your doctor should also tell you what development to expect over the next 3 months, until the 12 month visit.
Questions and exam. Your doctor will want to know what your baby is drinking and eating, how many hours your baby is sleeping, how many wet/dirty diapers per day. Your doctor will do a developmental screening, address issues such as car seat safety and child proofing your home and answer questions that you may have.The doctor will measure and examine your baby and provide vaccines if needed.
